What a historical day for the ACT!

After 25 years of campaigning since the Andrews Bill was introduced to Federal Parliament the 'Restoring Territory Rights Bill' has successfully passed the House of Representatives.

The Andrews Bill denies Territorians (in the ACT and the Northern Territory) the right to make, debate and pass laws affecting our community.

This means that the ACT is on its way to have the Andrews Bill overturned, and finally we will be able to have a conversation to legalise voluntary assisted dying for Canberrans.
