I moved a motion in the Assembly calling on the ACT Government to investigate improved support services for people undergoing ART, the potential for a donor register, and the current regulatory framework in the ACT.

After I was elected last year, I was approached by a constituent with concerns that there is little regulation in the ACT surrounding ART. Upon investigation, it was incredibly surprising to me that such a complex process involving decisions about life and family had such little regulation.

I believe it is incredibly important for the ACT Government to act on this issue. I look forward to the result of the Government's investigation.
