I am thrilled to announce that the petition to install toilet facilities at Ruth Park Playground in Coombs has reached an important milestone. 

With 332 signatures it's clear that the Molonglo Valley community's voice is strong. Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition on such an important local issue. At the end of the day, I see it as a really simply issue. We have an amazing playground at Ruth Park and there's just one thing holding it back from being the best community facility it can be: A toilet.

I am pleased to announce that the Minister for City Services will table a response to the petition within three months in Assembly. This is due to occur sometime in June. I will continue to update the community on the progress of the petition and will always advocate for such important community facilities.
