I moved a motion in the Assembly calling on the ACT Government to review the relevant ACT regulation surrounding e-cigarettes and vaping.

Earlier in the year parents started to approach me with concerns about the prevalence of vaping in our schools. They were concerned by how easy it seemed to be for their children to get easy access to a product that is illegal for people under the age of 18.

Following conversation with several parents, I feel that it is incredibly important that the ACT Government takes the issue of vaping in our community, and particularly within our schools, very seriously.
